Here is a photo of Anthony Hempell, who, before he was in Mint-era Windwalker, was the advertising representative for Discorder Magazine, that CiTR publication that a whole bunch of Mint-connected people cut their teeth on (including Anthony) — and Nardwuar, taken in the CiTR lounge, the spot where weekly meetings were held, live bands performed and were recorded, and Keith Parry and Sandi Kilby would brew their coffee during their latenight Monday shifts. Also in this photo are at least three Nardwuar gig…

Windwalker @ The Cruel Elephant, West Cordova Iteration

This is Windwalker playing at the Cruel Elephant on West Cordova, a/k/a  where cub had its breakout Tuesday night sold-out show with Crayon, if I remember correctly. It was also where a great many shows happened, a mere hop, skip, and a jump away from Mint HQ (including the previously mentioned Les Thugs show).
