We will always have a soft spot in our hearts for David Widsom, our earliest and biggest supporter, and a very very nice gentleman as well.
Here is a photo of Bill with David Wisdom in one of the CBC Studios in the big concrete bunker on Cambie Street, kitty corner from the Canada Post main branch, way back in what must have been the early 90s.
Back then, there was no store, no coffee or sandwich shop, no big television screen…

Happy to report that for the most part cbc radio 3 survived the extensive cbc budget cutbacks! they’ve been juggling around their web radio schedule quite a bit though, and so the re-broadcast of my guest host show won’t be happening this sunday after all. the good news is that they will be re-airing it not just once but a few times in the coming two weeks:
