Immaculate Machine's Fables

According to legend, Immaculate Machine was discovered on a magical isolated island. Over time, their music became somewhat of a fantastic vehicle, allowing the three friends and their energetic live show to venture far from the chilly waters of Victoria; often with The New Pornographers (and Kathryn's long lost uncle, Carl "A.C." Newman). Fables, their 2007 follow up to Ones and Zeros is brimming with travel inspired stories and includes surprise appearances from Alex Kapranos (of Franz Ferdinand), The Cribs, as well as string arrangements by Mr. Final Fantasy himself, Owen Pallett. What exactly is a "Jarhand," well, we still aren't exactly sure. We do know, however, that Fables will tickle and delight listeners with it's sparkling three part harmonies and thoughtfully arranged anthems of open-ended adventure.
