I have a feeling Renny could get a girl wetter than Prince can. - VICE

Sugarglider is a revelatory listen that exposes a genuine talent who's managed to excel at effortlessly nailing a distinct sound. - Exclaim!

Seven years in the making, Punk Explosion is an unhinged hodge-podge of punk and garage rock that thrashes like a shark in a kiddy pool - NOISEY

Geoff Berner

"An evening spent with Geoff Berner’s music is, in the words of the good Dr. Hunter S. Thompson, 'a wild combination of menace, madness, and genius… fragmented coherence that wreaks havoc on the mind of any listener.'" – Vue Weekly, Edmonton

"I know this sounds extreme, but with producer Josh Dolgin's help, and Mint Records' backing, I was finally able to realize my potential in the medium of recorded music."

After completing his highly-acclaimed "Whiskey Rabbi" trilogy of trio albums, it was time for Geoff Berner to move on.

Andrew W.K.

"It gives me great pleasure to announce my partnership with Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada's The Evaporators, as we release a new split 7" EP! It's called, 'A Wild Pear', and features artwork by American cartoonist, Mitch Clem! I'm honored to be part of the this special musical moment. I've been a fan of Nardwuar since I first saw him on bootleg VHS copies of his Cable Access TV shows. Then I found out about The Evaporators, and I was even more blown away.

Hot Panda

Hot Panda are just two boys and one girl from Edmonton trying to do the same thing they've always tried to do: play some kind of rock and roll that'll make people dance and feel happy. Simple stuff, right?

The Pack a.d.

The Pack a.d. have been growing inexorably since they signed to Mint Records in 2008. Drummer Maya Miller and guitarist/vocalist Becky Black stormed off the mean streets of East Vancouver with their debut album Tintype in hand and Funeral Mixtape following shortly thereafter, both released by Mint that same year. Since then, the duo has unleashed their brand of tribal, punk infected garage-rock across North America and Europe.
